AllThumbsWare is a software development company. The blog is about iPad, iPhone and iPod Touch app development, ideally from the concept phase to the finished product and throughout the app lifecycle. The purpose of this blog is primarily personal. It will ultimately serve as a development tool: repository of source code, ideas, online resources, and project tracking. Some of this will be purely internal and some of it will be public.
Since the development of the WordPress for iPhone project, it struck me that this platform and its plug-in system gives developers and users an opportunity to use it as a mobile data storage and backup platform. An iPad/iPhone application and a corresponding WordPress plug-in can be an extremely powerful tool for data collection.
